So in Zenless Zone Zero, there are these robots called Bangboo that speak entirely in what seems to be a very limited phonetic range; only N, D and W (with K used in loanwords), and the basic five vowels plus Schwa. But the translation is suspiciously detailed, providing full paragraphs for a single /ena/.
I propose that the phonetics might just be vessels for the tones, but not like any tones you’ve seen before. I think that it’s straight up down to the Hz.
This would mean that /ena/, /wada/, /enu:/ and anything else you could come up with would mean the same thing when underscored with the same Hz tones.
Should I make this language?
