Shitty Reconstruction Challenge!
Difficulty: Relatively Easy
These are the descendants of an older conlang, the goal is to provide a reconstruction for what the parent term is (in IPA with whatever romanization you want) and what it meant
Since this is just one word, I don't expect anything good, but it'll be silly to see ppl's guesses I think

  • Old Kuhi: solwošiŋ /solwoɕiŋ/ "liquor; strong alcohol, booze"
  • Old Eurahi: solwošĩ /solwoɕĩ/ "brine, pickling brine"
  • Old Pewwhi: zolverašĩ /zolveʁaʃĩ/ "alcohol, booze, liquor"
  • Old Danhi: sowošiŋ /sowoɕiŋ/ "acid, sour liquid; (alchemy) acid"
  • Old Ashahi: solwêššeŋ /solwɛɕɕeŋ/ "vinegar"
  • Old Kolengehi: solweʾaššiŋ /solweʔaɕɕiŋ/ "vinegar"

I see two distinct terms: solwešeŋ /solwɛɕɛŋ/ "vinegar" and solvoši /solvoɕi/ "alcohol"

Maybe Ashahi and Kolengehi are closer in proximity. Same for the other languages with each other? Branches of a language family
