Hey! I'm Dizzy, professional person.

I've been learning toki pona on-and-off since 2023, but I've not made much progress; this is primarily because I really don't like Discord, but a lot of the learning tools and community aspects seem to be exclusive to the platform. I want to find non-Discord and non-Reddit communities to be able to practice in! I want to create projects with zero ties to Discord! I just don't like how so much toki pona stuff is tied to an ecosystem that cannot be indexed by any search engines. >_>

I really hope that this community can provide what I'm looking for :3. I've been poking around a bit and it seems really nice!! Maybe I'll actually figure out how to form grammatical sentences in toki pona if I'm active enough here XD

You're not alone. Fortunately, there's a wiki that seeks to preserve the cultural knowledge build up on Discord and Reddit, in case that's something you're looking for.

sleepy indeed, I am also trying to stay afloat financially atm. CFS is not in any danger but some other stuff in my life is getting a bit dicey, but that's besides the topic
