Discussion from Discord:
- I think this proposal is impractical, because it makes frequent use of hiatus in an already hiatus-heavy language. I have nothing against this proposal or Toaq's current phonology, but I think the two don't mix.
- Laqme thinks that terminators could be accepted as a necessary evil under this proposal. The introduction of a proper terminator in this proposal was controversial, as Toaq Delta was all about getting rid of terminators and shifting to automatic self-termination exclusively (successfully!). Laqme floated thinking of terminators as the second part of a circumfix, rather as a Lojban-style function particle.
- Laqme also points out that the main theme of this proposal is "marking objects buys you a lot"; Hoemaı mentioned marking objects during discussion of Eatoaq, although the context was getting rid of «lo» as a hack to make object incorporation work.
- @evie and Kıa (the author) discovered that relative clauses are ambiguous. «Shao paı họ́ pỏ chạ́o jí» can parse as «Shao paı [họ́ pỏ chạ́o jí]» or «Shao [paı họ́ pỏ chạ́o] jí», necessitating «ꝡẻ» and defeating the goal of not having complementizers.
