Hi, I’m salarua! I speak Toaq, Toki Pona, and Ithkuil, and I have an affinity for more unusual and experimental conlangs. I like to write and do the occasional translation, and I would like to get proficient enough in a conlang to write a poem in it. It is my dream to create a conlang myself when I have the time to do so, but I have no idea how it’s gonna work or what it’s gonna look like yet

The oddballs are the fun ones, definitely. Whether you just speak in the existing languages, or find conlangerific inspiration, we’re happy your’re here !
If you would ever like to collaborate on a language, I am always willing to try. I’ve never made one on my own due to a lack of internal motivation.

how long have you been speaking ithkuil? i didn’t know there were many proficient speakers
Well, proficient is relative, but I could navigate the refgram well enough to compose words for about a few years now. I can’t make sentences on the fly, of course, but I can converse in it if I happen to have a cheatsheet and the lexicon on hand.
