It has a completely regular grammar, similar to the world’s creoles.
It has a limited and completely regular set of productive affixes for routine word derivation.
It has well-defined rules for word order, in keeping with many major languages.
Its vocabulary is strongly rooted in modern Romance languages. These languages are themselves widespread and influential, plus they have contributed the major part of English vocabulary.
It is designed to be naturally accepting of Latin and Greek technical neologisms, the de facto “world standard”.
It is designed to seem relatively “natural” to those who are familiar with Romance languages, without being any more difficult for others to learn.

Ah, my question is more syntactic. Should the sentence claim that Elefen is for international communications, or that it is easy to learn for international communications?
I guess my confusion wasn't quite cleared up, and that's what made me postpone. Maybe you can help:
In some other translations, the "for international communication" indeed is referring to Elefen itself, not the easy learnability (e.g. Esperanto, German, even Elefen, if I'm interpreting that comma right?).
If it was referring to easy learnability, that would mean you're not making any claim about how easy it is to learn Elefen in general. Would that indeed be the preferred version?
